EDERA project was invited to deliver an oral presentation at the 19th edition of the European Flood Awareness System (EFAS) Annual Meeting. This event took place on October 24-25 in Norrköping, Sweden, hosted by the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute.
On Day 1, October 24th, Prof. Marc Berenguer, as project coordinator, delivered a presentation that showcased the innovative products developed for integration into the EFAS platform. He also highlighted the project’s preliminary results, offering a glimpse into the project’s progress in:
Integrating forecasts of the impacts of storms and heavy rainfall into the operational Early Warning Systems of national, regional, and local Civil Protection Authorities.
Demonstrating and evaluating the added value of these impact forecasts through a robust assessment process with end-users.
